Our client is seeking candidates with Information Technology Project Management experience to help support a dynamic Manufacturing business.  The position is a long-term contract opportunity and will require a variety of skills including project management, strong communications, and efficient time management capabilities.  The successful candidate will be willing to grow and adapt with the role to help the client achieve their business goals.  The role is remote but may involve some travel if not located near the client site in Northern Ohio.

Responsibilities:

  • Run multiple IT projects simultaneously
  • Track and escalate project related issues and risks
  • Provide regular status reports on project health
  • Serve as advocate and SME for the PMO process
  • Follow-up with project staff to ensure deadlines and commitments are kept

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years IT project management experience
  • Independent worker capable of running multiple IT projects with minimal direction
  • Efficient time management to stay ahead of deadlines and ensure on time deliverables
  • Ability to communicate and tailor messages to an appropriate level
  • Produce reports and other project and PMO related documentation
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Prior management / leadership experience of small teams
  • Ability to multi-task and keep track of multiple simultaneous priorities
  • Basic familiarity with IT technologies and office computing
  • Eagerness to learn new skills and grow with the team
  • Access to reliable transportation
  • Access to high-speed Internet and/or mobile hotspot for remote workers

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4-year degree in a relevant IT discipline
  • One or more relevant IT certifications (PMP, ITIL, Agile, etc.)
  • 5+ years prior experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Manufacturing IT experience a definite plus
  • Preference given to candidates willing to work an Eastern time zone schedule regardless of physical location

Minimum Requirements

• 5+ years of mixed experience across the following application development technologies:

The Business Intelligence (BI) and Software Solutions team creates and supports innovative internal and external facing solutions that are used to make insightful decisions and drive process efficiencies. The BI and Software Solutions Leader is a hands-on role that will work with the Manager of Information Technology and other business leadership to provide effective strategic leadership and planning while leading a team that develops, maintains, and supports custom software applications and Business Intelligence solutions, troubleshoots, and provide advanced technical support in adherence to the company’s standards, policies, and procedures. This role applies a general aptitude across a wide range Business Intelligence and software development technologies and provides architecture leadership and leads/participates in the implementation of IT related projects.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage the requirements gathering, architecting and delivery of software solutions through the software development lifecycle (SDLC) including all aspects of software development, formal unit, integration, functional and regression testing, release, and ongoing maintenance and support.

• Manage the requirements gathering, architecting and delivery of Business Intelligence initiatives including Data Lake/Data Warehouse, KPI dashboards and essential reports that assist the business with informed decision making.

• Coordinate and Manage BI and Software Solution projects while participating as a technical contributor to broader business projects and initiatives.

• Independently utilize professional discretion to achieve project goals with minimal oversight from the Manager of Information Technology.

• Communicate clearly in both written and verbal communications specific process logic that solves assigned business problems.

• Manage and mentor skilled professionals, both full time and contract, engaged in BI and software development and support.

• Manage BI and Software Solutions OpEx budget and make recommendations for future budget forecasting and planning needs.

• Provide technical support to internal and external customers.

• Communicate status updates to Manager of IT and other Senior business leaders where necessary.

• Proactively research, learn, and apply new technology and/or methods to solve and implement for complex business issues and projects.

Basic Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field • 5+ years of software development experience

• Business Intelligence design and development experience

• People leadership experience

• Proficient in learning and communicating developing technology and techniques

• A demonstrable high-level of proficiency with project planning and execution Education and Experience Preferred:

• 2+ years directly managing personnel

• UI/IX Experience

• Software solutioning experience leveraging the Microsoft ecosystem of cloud products

The Information Technology department provides various network, server and client based infrastructure, and software toolsets to assist the business.

The Network and Infrastructure Team Leader is a hands-on role that will work with the Manager of Information systems and other business leadership to provide effective strategic leadership & planning while leading a team that provides the management of network, infrastructure, and client-based assets to ensure highly available data, systems, and networking capabilities for the business. This role will provide architecture leadership and lead/participate in the implementation of IT related projects.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide and maintain safe, secure, and highly available on-prem and cloud based data center services (servers, systems, networks, physical environments, and telecommunications).

• Provide and direct server and client-side support activities for AD/Azure AD, Office 365, enterprise applications, hardware, mobile devices, and other tools.

• Coordinate and Manage IT infrastructure, network, and client-side projects while participating as a technical contributor to broader business projects and initiatives.

• Plan, schedule, and allocate resources including the planning of IS team members’ duties.

• Manage vendors and service providers encompassing but not limited to negotiations, licensing, adherence to service level agreements, and ensuring all support and maintenance contracts and services are up-to-date and providing appropriate coverage.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience working directly with Networking and other IT infrastructure

• 5 years of experience working in a Cloud environment

• Sufficient knowledge of Cloud platforms to research, design, and direct the implementation of solutions using Azure.

• Experience working with Microsoft Office 365 Education and Experience-Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years directly managing personnel

• Advanced knowledge of Cloud platforms (preferably Azure) and core services

• Extensive experience working with Microsoft Office 365

• Vendor and contract management

• ITIL Certification Work authorization:
