The Information Technology department provides various network, server and client based infrastructure, and software toolsets to assist the business.

The Network and Infrastructure Team Leader is a hands-on role that will work with the Manager of Information systems and other business leadership to provide effective strategic leadership & planning while leading a team that provides the management of network, infrastructure, and client-based assets to ensure highly available data, systems, and networking capabilities for the business. This role will provide architecture leadership and lead/participate in the implementation of IT related projects.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide and maintain safe, secure, and highly available on-prem and cloud based data center services (servers, systems, networks, physical environments, and telecommunications).

• Provide and direct server and client-side support activities for AD/Azure AD, Office 365, enterprise applications, hardware, mobile devices, and other tools.

• Coordinate and Manage IT infrastructure, network, and client-side projects while participating as a technical contributor to broader business projects and initiatives.

• Plan, schedule, and allocate resources including the planning of IS team members’ duties.

• Manage vendors and service providers encompassing but not limited to negotiations, licensing, adherence to service level agreements, and ensuring all support and maintenance contracts and services are up-to-date and providing appropriate coverage.

• Obsolescence – Work to consolidate or replace legacy technologies with newer services, hardware and applications that drive continuous improvement and mitigate cybersecurity and resiliency risks.

• Manage Network and Infrastructure OpEx budget and make recommendations for future budget forecasting and planning needs.

• Communicate status updates to Manager of IT and other Senior business leaders where necessary.

• Research and recommend new technologies and solutions to meet business needs.

• Support our commitment to safety. Education and Experience-Minimum Qualifications:

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

• 7+ years of experience working directly with Networking and other IT infrastructure

• 5 years of experience working in a Cloud environment

• Sufficient knowledge of Cloud platforms to research, design, and direct the implementation of solutions using Azure.

• Experience working with Microsoft Office 365 Education and Experience-Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years directly managing personnel

• Advanced knowledge of Cloud platforms (preferably Azure) and core services

• Extensive experience working with Microsoft Office 365

• Vendor and contract management

• ITIL Certification Work authorization:
